ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Audrey Koh Sui Ean, or just Madam to students and Audrey to friends and colleagues, pursued her Bachelor of Education in Teaching English as a Second Language in University of Exeter, United Kingdom in 2001 and obtained her Master of Education in Teaching and Learning with Distinction with University of HELP Kuala Lumpur in 2019. Audrey is a vibrant and dynamic individual who has come a long way but still has more to see and do. She has 19 years as an English teacher under her belt with many more to come as her passion lies in teaching English as well as being an examiner and a motivational and content-based speaker for teachers and students all over Malaysia. She is a national Storytelling Champion as well as a 2 time National Teachers’ Debate Champion and runs workshops and seminars for all levels including English for UPSR, PT3, SPM 111/9 and MUET. She has also currently published 2 Oxford Fajar PT3 English reference books this year and a personal compilation of prose and poetry in her book Horizon of Hope in 2017. Her second poetry and prose compilation is expected to be out by next year. Audrey also has a successful blog with close to 7 million hits and has an FB page Audrey Koh: Sabah English Language Guru. Introduction

My name is Madam Audrey Koh and I have done endless research and trials to perfect my grammar notes. Rest assured that I have done all the hard work, and all you have to do is internalise the grammar formula which have been broken down to very simple codes. Trust me, this book will help you improve your proficiency in English by leaps and bounds!
Recent studies have shown that a lot of fresh graduates and working adults cannot get good jobs or promotions simply because of their lack of proficiency in English. With these diagnostic tests and the grammar notes in this book, you will be able to unlock your potential and improve your overall proficiency in the English language.
This book has been arranged and laid out in a manner which is very simple yet effective in identifying your grammar problem areas. It also provides clear explanations and useful grammar formula in addition to exercises to fix your broken structures. All it takes it a little bit of effort and you can complete Level 1 in record time! At the end of the book, there is a link for an online grammar test for Level 2 as well as two writing tasks that you can email to me and I will check and grade them for you as part of the diagnostic test for Level 2. I will then contact you to give you the opportunity to complete the Writing Module if you register with us.
Once you have completed this module, you will then be ready for Module 3 which is a Speaking Module. Level 3 is meant to polish your speaking ability so you can perform English communication tasks with utmost confidence and improved fluency. With the success of level 3, you will be awarded a Certificate of Completion and you can have an option to register for the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) as a private candidate. We will also provide private tutoring for this if you choose to sign up.
